Environmental Responsibility

ZEL TECH-NEFKHIM REFINERY management objectives are directly linked to the Group's Development Strategy. Our Strategy-2028 includes strategic initiatives to increase environmental responsibility. Group priorities in terms of environmental protection include greenhouse gas emissions management and flaring reduction, water resources management, production waste management, land reclamation and energy efficiency.

To drive measurable progress, the Group has established clear performance targets across each priority area. Greenhouse gas emissions management focuses on reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through process optimization, equipment upgrades, and the adoption of low-carbon technologies targeting routine flaring elimination. Water resources management emphasizes reducing freshwater consumption.
